OUR FOOD DRIVE BROKE ALL RECORDS IN 2011!

meterThanks Curves Gosport ladies The food we collectedfor your generosity this year. We broke our record with 700lb of non-perishable food donated by our members & joining new members who brought a bag of shopping and joined free instead of paying the normal service fee.

Thanks also to our neighbours Waitrose who made a generous donation.

Thanks also to the willing members of Waterside Community Church www.thewaterside.org who helped us deliver 10 bags of food for needy people in two Gosport tower blocks.

WE HELPED FIGHT BREAST CANCER THIS OCTOBER 2010!!

IMG_3093.JPGThroughout October, we raised a total of £1100!  This is the highest amount we’ve raised in the 3 years we’ve been in business.  AND . . that is not including any money we will raise from the sale of our calendar which is still in production. We had lots of fun at our Pink Ladies Night, got lots of crazy photos, sold loads of raffle tickets for our BIG PINK RAFFLE and made £340.

C:\Users\Fran\Curves\Pictures\Breast_Cancer_Awareness\Pink_Friday\IMG_5140.JPGOur Pink Friday and sale of pins raised a further £60 and our donation to Breast Cancer instead of the Service Fee for new members in October raised a further £700.

C:\Users\Fran\Curves\Pictures\Breast_Cancer_Awareness\Pink_Friday\IMG_5133.JPGPLUS . . . one of our coaches, Annaka, raised £305 all by herself by running the Great South Run – with a lot of help from our members who generously sponsored her.
